Job Description
Please Note:
- This is a 100% OnSite position.
- Selected candidate must be willing to work onsite in Woodlawn MD 5 days a week.
Position Description:
- Lead the ServiceNow Architecture development enhancements and implementations.
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders in utilizing ServiceNow for managing enterprise services and enhancements using new technologies (i.e. AI and automation)
- Build roadmaps provide recommendations lead development and utilization of new technologies and services to enhance and fully utilize ServiceNow services and capabilities.
- Provide assistance to development teams as needed.
Key Required Skills:
Expertise in developing enterprisewide architecture leading multiple development and implementations providing guidance and leadership with development Team Leads.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors and 12 years of experience Masters and 10 years of experience or 18 in lieu of a degree
- 10 years of experience as ServiceNow Developer
- 5 years as a ServiceNow Solutions Architect
- 5 years leading ServiceNow development teams
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. Contract requirement.
Required Skills
These skills will help you succeed in this position:
- Required ServiceNow certification:
- Certified System Administrator (baseline)
- Certified Application Developer (baseline)
- ServiceNow CIS certification in multiple areas:
- CIS Customer Service Management
- CIS IT Service Management
- CIS Discovery
- IS Service Mapping
- CIS Strategic Portfolio Management
- CIS Application Portfolio Management
- CIS Software Asset Management
- CIS Hardware Asset Management
- 5 years of experience with technical discussions and reviews.
- 5 years of experience across numerous parts of the ServiceNow platform and experience with commonly integrated thirdparty technologies
- 5 years of experience with developing ServiceNow solutions across various platform applications such as ITSM ITOM (HAM and SAM) ITBM CSM SecOps GRC HR
- 5 years of Industry experience (e.g. Financial Services Healthcare High Tech Manufacturing Retail etc.)
- 5 years of technical leadership experience driving change/solutions.
- Ability to work in a high growth fast paced environment
- Excellent understanding of system architecture design principles and impacts
- Experience supporting IT related data integrity (CMDB HAM SAM etc.)
- Excellent technical leadership skills and initiative to take on additional responsibilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to deliver technical solutions simply and succinctly
- Experience with the US Federal Government
Desired Skills
Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the following experience or skills:
- Experience with Web development including technologies such as XHTML CSS3 SQL XML Angular and JavaScript PHP .NET or Java
- Experience with implementing Java scripting to support automation across the various modules in ServiceNow
- Experience with REST and SOAP web service protocols
- Experience with Business Rules Workflow Identification Rules Workspaces and External Portals
- Knowledge of SAML Active Directory or LDAP
- Specialized ServiceNow Developer Certifications including ITSM HAM SAM ITBM CSM SecOps GRC TRM/APM or HR
- Project Management or Agile certification
- ITILv4 Foundations Certification
