JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Must be licensed or eligible in Alabama
Certifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
Experience: Internal Medicine residency trained
Other Qualifications: Comfortable managing diverse patient populations; throughput efficiency focus
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide inpatient care for ED admissions consults and transfers
Comanage critical care patients with intensivists (no procedures required)
Manage patients in clinical decision unit
Collaborate with subspecialists and hospital support services
Participate in throughput initiatives to reduce patient length of stay
