Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform civil/structural engineering duties and project management tasks including monitoring budgets and schedules interacting with clients and leading junior engineers.
  • Perform structural design and analysis and prepare design sketches.
  • Prepare plans specifications cost estimates and reports.
  • Instruct draftspersons on design drawings.
  • Lead technical and project discussions with the design team.
  • Responsible for quality control/assurance of project deliverables.
  • Perform engineering inspection/field work.

Telecommuting permitted less than 50% from local area.


Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

Education:  Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering

Experience:  5 years as a bridge engineer or structural engineer or related occupation

OR: 

Education:  Masters degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering

Experience:  3 years as a bridge engineer or structural engineer or related occupation

Education or experience required in:

  • Structural design of bridge and infrastructure projects
  • Finite element analysis in programs such as SAP2000 and/or CSI Bridge
  • Drawing specification and cost estimate production for infrastructure projects
  • AASHTO LRFD design code


Additional Information :

Compensation
The salary for this role is $121200 to $129300.
