Job Description
Our growing Dallas office is seeking an Electrical Engineer with three to nine years of experience in the consulting engineering field who is passionate about their craft and looking for an environment that promotes professional growth. Applicants must be well versed in all aspects of electrical systems design and have experience developing construction documents from project conception to completion. The desired individual should be comfortable consulting to architects owners and general contractors and have a desire to work as part of a multidiscipline engineering team. We value selfmotivated individuals with an enthusiastic mindset an interest in working on diverse projects and attention to detail to deliver quality engineering services.

Qualifications:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Minimum three (3)/Maximum nine (9) years of relevant electrical engineering experience
- PE license in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- FE license is required.
- Past experience with a multidiscipline engineering/consulting firm for a minimum of two (2) years
- Experience with the following: federal commercial higher education healthcare or industrial project design
- Knowledge of the NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code)
- Familiar with Industry codes and standards (NESC IEEE IECC ASHRAE etc.)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in telecommunications security AV or cybersecurity design is a plus
- Experience with AutoCAD and Revit Bluebeam and general electronic drawing format software (Preferred)
- Interest or experience in project management
Responsibilities
- Design electrical plans and specifications for a variety of building types
- Develop scope of work for electrical designs
- Perform electrical discipline peer reviews
- Contribute to Coffmans marketing and business initiatives as needed
- Collaborating on Interdisciplinary projects and project teams
- Interaction with Clients (Architects Owners Contractors) and City officials.
