Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated parttime Physical Therapy Technician to join our healthcare team in Fallston. In this role you will work alongside licensed physical therapists to provide exceptional patient care and support therapeutic treatments.
- Assist physical therapists in delivering patient treatments and therapeutic exercises
- Prepare treatment areas and maintain therapy equipment
- Apply hot and cold therapy treatments under therapist supervision
- Welcome and guide patients through their appointment process
- Schedule and manage patient appointments
- Maintain a clean organized and safe clinical environment
- Handle basic administrative tasks including phone calls and patient documentation
- Monitor and report patient progress to physical therapists
- Ensure proper setup and breakdown of therapy equipment
- Assist patients with mobility and exercise routines as directed
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a medical setting preferred (1 years)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service
- Physical stamina to assist patients and handle equipment
- Proficiency in basic computer systems for scheduling and documentation
- Knowledge of medical equipment maintenance and safety protocols
- Understanding of patient confidentiality requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced healthcare environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Teamoriented mindset with a compassionate approach to patient care
- Basic understanding of physical therapy procedures and terminology
Additional Information :
Employment Type: PartTime
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $15 $16 hourly. Salary is based on various factors including relevant experience knowledge skills other jobrelated qualifications and geography. Medical dental vision 401(k) paid time off and other benefits are also available subject to the terms of the Companys plan.
