Job Description
Arthur Grand Technologies is currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Specialist (Network / System Administrator) Long Term Contract Sanford FL for one of our clients.
IT Specialist (Network / System Administrator)
Location: Sanford FL (Onsite)
Long Term Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Firewall Administration
- Manage and update Fortinet Firewalls
- Configure roles and policies
Web Filter Administration
- Perform weekly audits and updates using FortiGate
- Handle permission changes software updates and monitor system status
Server Administration
- Support the VMWare environment including patch management and local role updates
- Manage Veeam backup and recovery
- Maintain Dell Compellent / Powerstore multitier storage
Security Administration
- Administer RADIUS and Active Directory
- Coordinate with State Law Enforcement Radio System (SLERS) for background clearances
- Manage the Security Access Request process via Atlassian Jira
- Oversee D5ITS/TSMO user base access and roles
Special Programs Administration
- Manage and provide Level 1 support for:
- Activu Video wall control system
- Road Ranger Mobile App For service patrol dispatch
- iVDS Remote camera viewing system
- SunGuide Traveler information management
- BlueMac Bluetooth data collection system
- MIMS Maintenance dispatch and inventory
- ITS Facility Management Field device tracking
- SCCM / SCOM Server and workstation management
- Solarwinds Network and infrastructure monitoring
- Additional thirdparty/proprietary software postcontract will be supported as inplace systems
Network Administration (Backup Role)
- Provide support for Extreme Networks (formerly Brocade) hardware
- Troubleshoot basic issues and fulfill task assignments during noncoverage hours (typically Fridays 8am5pm)
Workstation Support
- Set up hardware and provide user support
- Maintain inventory
- Create and update selfhelp documentation (wiki)
Education:
- Bachelors degree with 7 years of experience
