We are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Assistant Director of Sales MICE & Event to join our team in NH Bangkok Sukhumvit Boulevard. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and grow our MICE (Meetings Incentives Conferences and Exhibitions) and Event sales division driving revenue and fostering strong client relationships.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to maximize revenue from MICE and event business
- Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals setting clear goals and performance expectations
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the MICE and events sector
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
- Manage key client accounts and maintain strong relationships with industry partners
- Oversee the preparation of proposals contracts and pricing negotiations
- Monitor and report on sales performance providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Represent the company at industry events trade shows and networking functions
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or related field
- Minimum 57 years of experience in MICE and event sales with a proven track record of achieving targets
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a highperforming sales team
- Indepth knowledge of the MICE and events industry including current trends and best practices
- Strong proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and revenue management techniques
- Excellent negotiation communication and presentation skills
- Strategic thinking and analytical abilities to drive business growth
- Experience in budget management and forecasting
- Fluency in Thai and English languages is essential
- Professional certifications in MICE or event management (e.g. CMP CMM) are preferred
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events
