Job Description
We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Technician with a versatile profile capable of working across different technological areas with a strong focus on Networking and Security. We seek someone adaptable eager to grow and ready to contribute to a dynamic and multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support in infrastructure projects with a focus on networking and security;
- Configure maintain and troubleshoot network equipment and systems;
- Handle classic security topics including firewalls and protection policies;
- Monitor and detect threats using tools such as SIEM antivirus firewalls and intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS);
- Collaborate across different technical areas as required by the project;
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Over 2 years of experience as an IT infrastructure technician with a focus on networking and security;
- Strong knowledge of networking (routing switching network protocols) with the ability to diagnose and resolve network issues effectively;
- Experience with classic security solutions such as Fortinet Checkpoint among others;
- Ability to work across multiple technical domains;
- Proactive mindset autonomy and eagerness to learn;
- Strong communication skills and team spirit.
Additional Information :
- Workplace type: Hybrid (max. of 3 times per week in the office).
- Location: Funchal Madeira.
