Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer specializing in 5G Protocol Systems to join our team in Manchester United States. As a key member of our Anritsu testing division you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our 5G protocol testing solutions.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for 5G protocol systems using Anritsu test equipment
- Analyze and interpret complex test results to identify and resolve issues in 5G network protocols
- Design and implement automated test scripts to improve efficiency and coverage of testing processes
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to troubleshoot and debug systemlevel issues
- Stay uptodate with the latest 5G technologies and 3GPP specifications
- Contribute to the development of new test methodologies and tools for emerging 5G features
- Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation on test results and procedures
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on 5G protocol testing
- Participate in industry forums and standards meetings to represent the companys interests in 5G testing.
- 5 years of experience in wireless telecommunications testing with a focus on 5G and LTE technologies
- Proven expertise in 5G protocol testing and familiarity with Anritsu test equipment
- Strong knowledge of wireless communication protocols and 5G network architecture
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C
- Experience with network simulation tools and protocol conformance testing
- Indepth understanding of 3GPP specifications and standards
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a detailoriented approach
- Strong debugging abilities and experience in troubleshooting complex system issues
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Relevant certifications in 5G technologies are preferred
- Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite testing or industry events
