You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Senior Enterprise IT Security Engineer is a pivotal role within the organizations cybersecurity efforts focusing on implementation and managing advanced security solutions. This role involves strategic planning team collaboration and intermediatelevel knowledge to ensure a robust and resilient security infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Security Strategy:
Development and implementation of the organizations IT security strategy to protect the organizations IT environment.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align security initiatives with business objectives and emerging threat landscapes.
Identify security issues/risks in IT environment and develop/identify solutions to remediate the risk
2. Advanced Security Solutions Implementation:
Implement and manage advanced security solutions including nextgen firewalls Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) Password ManagerVMDR SSPM CASB/DLP CAASM solutions and systems.
Evaluate emerging security technologies and recommend solutions to address evolving threats effectively.
3. Incident Detection Response and Forensics:
Support incident response efforts in analyzing and responding to security incidents ensuring appropriate measures are taken to mitigate risks and prevent future occurrences.
4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate security measures into IT projects applications and processes ensuring security is a fundamental consideration.
Engage with senior management to communicate security risks recommendations and strategies fostering a culture of security awareness and understanding.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field.
4 to 6 years experience in IT security cybersecurity or a related role with a focus on enterpriselevel security solutions.
Indepth understanding of cybersecurity principles IT architecture and network security.
Proficiency in using advanced security tools and technologies such as SIEM IDS/IPS firewalls SSPM CASB VM DLP and endpoint security solutions.
Relevant certifications such as SANS CompTIA Security AZ500 Vulnerability Management or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
