Reports to: Senior Manager
Work Model: Hybrid
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Status: Temporary FullTime Contract till March 2026

Position Summary

Were seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Coordinator to join our team. In this role youll play a key part in supporting patients caregivers and UHN care providers by offering realtime assistance. Your work will help enhance digital literacy and provide training and education on the myUHN Patient Portal and Virtual Care features.

Youll also contribute to the development and implementation of marketing and outreach strategies to increase awareness and engagement helping to amplify the impact of the patient portal across our community.

Duties


Qualifications :

  • Undergraduate degree in a healthrelated field or related work experience in virtual care technologies health policy health education or communication or recognized equivalent required
  • Minimum 12 years practical and related experience and/or 1 year onthejob training required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with those who have low digital literacy skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that demonstrate compassion empathy patience and respect for colleagues patients family members and caregivers
  • Demonstrated ability to build successful working relationships with patients caregivers staff physicians and external partners such as government bodies or community health organizations
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong time management skills and excellent organizational planning skills
  • Proven adaptability to varying roles and responsibilities as strategic needs and priorities of the position department or portfolio evolve
  • Experience working within health care and education preferable in a hospital environment
  • Knowledge of EPIC platform is an asset
  • Knowledge of functionality and navigating personal devices (e.g. smartphones tablets computers)
  • Strong computer skills (Internet Microsoft Word Microsoft Teams Outlook PowerPoint Excel)
  • Proven adaptability to varying roles and responsibilities as needs and priorities of the position evolve
  • Demonstrated ability to build successful working relationships
