Job Description

The Consultant M&A Financial Due Diligence role is a critical position that is responsible for conducting indepth financial analyses of potential acquisition targets. This role is instrumental in assessing the historic data of these targets forecasting their future profitability and cash flow and providing insightful actionable advice that can significantly influence acquisition prices.

Job Purpose

The main purpose of this job is to thoroughly understand the business model of potential acquisition targets and identify any underlying trends. By presenting these findings in a detailed comprehensive manner you will help the clients finetune their valuation and negotiation strategies. This role requires constant collaboration with high level clients including CEOs and CFOs and plays a pivotal part in supporting national and international clients predominantly Dutch Private Equity firms.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough financial and operational due diligence analyses of acquisition targets.
  • Identify underlying trends and assess the business model of acquisition targets.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports with findings to the clients.
  • Collaborate with clients on discussion of analyses and findings.
  • Support national and international clients mainly focusing on Dutch Private Equity firms.

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Financial Analysis.
  • Experience in Due Diligence.
  • Ability to identify trends.
  • Understanding and experience in Business Model Assessment.
  • Experience in presenting detailed reports to clients.
  • Strong skills in Client Collaboration.
  • Background in finance accounting or related quantitative fields.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proactive and innovative mindset for continuous improvement in transaction services.
  • Strong teamwork elements and Quality Assurance skills.
