We ensure all AV equipment is perfectly poised for action across our offices worldwide guaranteeing smooth technical execution from preproduction to postproduction for medium to largescale events. If youre passionate about bringing events to life through technical excellence we want you on our team in London. Youll primarily support both internal and external events in our London office and at various external venues.
What youll do:
Orchestrate the technical delivery of diverse crosscompany events collaborating closely with our trusted AV partners.
Partner with internal communications and event teams to create unforgettable internal and external experiences.
Maintain and upgrade our AV systems in the event spaces working alongside our AV engineers and the Workplace team.
Develop and maintain comprehensive runbooks to standardize and optimize event space usage.
Drive AV solution standards utilisation and ensure consistent highquality deployments.
Foster technical growth within internal teams reducing operational burdens.
Occasionally resolve AV support requests and incidents for supported technologies collaborating with other IT support teams.
About you:
A Bachelors degree in related technical studies or equivalent work experience
3 years of handson experience running events in a dynamic corporate hospitality theatre or fastpaced setting (inhouse events team experience is a plus).
Proven expertise in stage setup maintenance and troubleshooting with a knack for running live shows and the ability to seamlessly switch roles (e.g. camera operator vision mixer technician direct presenter support).
A strong customercentric mindset where users needs drive your solutions.
Experience across sound and video engineering streaming AV integration or event management.
Solid understanding of Zoom Vimeo and other cloudbased conferencing services.
Proficiency of Google Workplace
Strong analytical and handson problemsolving and troubleshooting skills and ability to manage complex or escalated support issues
Creative approach to doing things out of the box while also learning and adapting to new technologies
Familiarity with other AV platforms and solutions and good understanding of trends in AV space
Ability to travel globally at least once per quarter to other Wise offices and relevant events.
Nice to haves:
Basic IT skills such as remote device management security and password management cloud storage documentation and ticketing systems (JIRA).
CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) Certification
Some experience with internal IT help desk and/or customer support related work
Some knowledge of QSys programming for audiovisual event spaces
