Common accountabilities
Identify and run continuous improvement initiatives to improve the quality of technology deliverables improve efficiency and productivity of the team.
Has a mid/longterm vision of the activity and the business influences the departments strategy based on a broad understanding of the environment.
Works with high level of autonomy. Proactively identify risks and mitigate the risks.
Suggest alternatives / improvements / new techniques in processes flows operational models and plans
Define and share the technical / functional team roadmap and vision according to the department/division/company objectives
Drive planning project and development of technical talent.
Timely and appropriate communication to team members regarding Amadeus & Business updates.
About the ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will be someone who has good technical as well as management expertise. Should have a background in designing developing & deploying mission critical engineering applications in a highly demanding environment and managed a team size of over 10 people.
Education and Experience
Bachelors / master s degree in engineering.
12 years of overall experience.
7 years of experience in analysis design development of software systems in C / Java
3 years of experience in people management.
Experience in IAM domain will be a plus.
Required Skill
Strong Development background in C or Java.
Experience in managing software Development and DevOps teams.
Experience in managing time critical product / platform and running the services at or above agreed service levels.
Collaborate with other software development architecture solutions and QA teams across the locations Nice Bangalore Erding to ensure that software systems are designed for testability stability scalability Operability and performance.
Experience in compliance with IT security policies.
Experience in incident & problem management process.
Customer focused.
Experience in Manage motivate coach & train team members drive a culture of strong staff engagement.
Experience in setting team objectives and targets according to Division and Company objectives.
Experienced working in a matrix environment & partnering with other departments to derive maximum synergy across Amadeus Labs organization.
An excellent communicator who can have critical conversation with Peers and other relevant stake holders.
Highly accountable and enable the team to improve their productivity & predictability.
Plans Prioritize & owns individual & group activities effectively.
Communicate & track delivery roadmap.
