You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Permanent Improvement Programmes (PIP) team based in Brussels offers internal consulting services as part of the Eurofins Group. The teams primary mission is to define govern and implement programmes to ensure harmonisation standardisation and optimisation of Eurofins companies operations.

The PIP team is led by an international group of supervisors who work closely with top management. As a network of companies that values entrepreneurship passion and curiosity you will build relationships that could lead to global opportunities in the Group.
You will be assigned to at least one project in the departments scope and support an Internal Consultant by independently running several activities with a clear and defined scope. As a PIP intern that contributes to key objectives of the team you will:
Define and support standardisation of key concepts and processes across the Eurofins network.
Outline and develop standard laboratory processes for specific applications.
Develop methodologies and standards for performance and costmanagement processes.
Some exciting projects the PIP team has overseen:
Conduct cost analyses to identify and correct low margin services With financial and operation data obtained from the laboratory the PIP team modelled how P&L costs are absorbed by each test. This enabled detailed portfolio profitability analysis leading to targeted pricing adjustments and the identification of improvement project.
Work on longerterm initiatives such as the global rollout of new Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) By working closely with laboratory managers to restructure cost and revenue accounting they helped identify costsaving opportunities using internal benchmarks and standardised project work breakdown structures.
Productivity benchmarking In collaboration with laboratory managers the PIP team gathered and standardised operational data to benchmark productivity across laboratories. Through indepth analysis they uncovered root causes behind performance differences between comparable teams and departments.
INTERNSHIP DETAILS:
Fulltime compensated internship based in Brussels Belgium.
The internship should last for 6 months starting in September 2025.
An internship agreement with your university is mandatory.
Qualifications :
Education: Currently enrolled in a Masters degree in Science Engineering or Business in a top university/business school with an excellent academic track record.
Languages: Excellent English both oral and written is a must. French and/or German are a plus.
Personal skills: Strong problemsolver with cando attitude able to both pragmatically define solutions and capture and understand all relevant details when necessary.
Technical knowledge IT: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Structured query language (SQL) skills are a plus.
