Job Description

Manages a staff of videographers and motion graphics designers. Implements policies workflows and guidelines for video shooting and editing. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to leads the video team in the development of highquality and highly creative videos.

Responsibilities

Manage Creative Development:

  • Reviews all video projects for quality and creative approach. Mentors members of the video team on advanced video techniques.
  • Must understand how to visually tell a story using photojournalism techniques.
  • Responsible for scheduling and directing video projects.
  • Lead/participate in brainstorming sessions to share new ideas and techniques.
  • Creates budgets and timelines for video projects.
  • Maintains creative and technical standards for video development.
  • Reviews scripts creates shot lists and/or storyboards and plans what resources will be needed for video projects.
  • Creates the concepts artwork and layout for video projects based on creative briefs and client meetings.
  • Responsible for recruiting and selection of talents to grow the organization.

Manage Productivity:

  • Ensure compliance with company guidelines deadlines and design standards.
  • Work closely with account and creative teams to understand project scope and objectives.
  • Advise leadership on video/photo equipment requirements and emerging media practices.
  • Develop workflow to optimize efficiency while maintaining quality and compliance.

Leadership:

  • Provide leadership management and coaching of direct reports including contractors. Responsible for recruiting and selection of talents to grow the organization.
  • Infuse AbbVie Ways of Working and Talent Philosophy in daytoday leadership and management of the business. Uses coaching effectively and efficiently to create highperforming teams and elevate teams skills and knowledge.

Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • BA degree or equivalent 6 years business experience within the design or advertising industry pharmaceutical or healthcare.
  • 5 years of experience in video development.
  • Extensive knowledge of cinematography lighting and sound design
  • Must have expertise with Adobe Creative Suite software After Effects and Premiere Pro.

  • The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

  • We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation holidays sick) medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.

  • This job is eligible to participate in our shortterm incentive programs.
