Key Responsibilities:
- Database Management: Administering and optimizing PostgreSQL databases to ensure high availability performance and security.
- Replication and High Availability: Implementing database replication strategies and ensuring systems are designed for scalability and fault tolerance.
- Performance Tuning: Monitoring database performance and making necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency.
- Security Compliance: Ensuring databases are compliant with healthcare regulations and standards including HIPAA.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Indepth knowledge of PostgreSQL including experience with database replication sharding and performance optimization.
