Job Description
Job Title: Content Specialist (multiple positions)

Chicago IL
Job Duties:
Gather and refine broad business requirements from Morningstar commercial products into concrete implementation plans with clear resource estimates to aid with enterpriselevel prioritization (15%). Design and lead the endtoend implementation of new data solutions by providing detailed specifications based on sound financial research as well as commercial request for technical team implementation (15%). Document the business data flow and managing the upstream/downstream dependencies during the development process (30%). Conduct QA testing the end output to ensure the quality along 10 different quality dimensions (5%). Serve as the voice for Managed Investment Data team the largest data team at Morningstar in conversations regarding developments of new data platforms and the governance of Morningstar data (5%). Educate Managed Investment Data team members globally to ensure organizational alignment regarding implementation of datasets distributed via new data platforms and serve as consultants to new data initiatives globally (30%).
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Mathematics Economics or a related analytical field or foreign equivalent and 3 years of relevant experience working with financial data in the position of Associate Data Research Analyst Data Research Analyst Senior Data Research Analyst Data Content Researcher or a related position. This position also requires: experience with SQL and Python; experience with Amazon Web Services technologies; experience with financial data modeling; data storage design and expertise; experience with Data ETL (extract transform load) design; experience with simplifying technical concepts and teach to nontechnical audience; experience with technical product management; and experience with agile development framework.
Must possess unrestricted right to work in the U.S. in this position
Base Salary Compensation: $112814
