Job Description

This position is through June 20 2025JOB MISSION: To promote academic success and provide optimal nursing care to the entire school DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs school nursing services under the supervision of the School Nurse Leader consistent with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health guidelines in addition to the local school district assessment and medical care for students and staff in the case of injury or illness as appropriate documentation including electronic school health records daily logs medication administration accident/incident report and special needs health education in daily the needs of students and staff and teaches health promotion and disease prevention as needed. Provides health education and counseling on an individual basis as needed to students staff and and applies current nursing knowledge in school in ongoing professional development to maintain Massachusetts Registered Nurse License.
