Senior Registrar Obstetrics & Gynaecology
Regional South Australia FullTime Public Hospital

About the Role
This is a senior position suitable for a committed registrars with significant experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology including those undertaking advanced training or preparing for specialist practice. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing highquality care across both obstetric and gynaecological services.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the delivery of inpatient and outpatient womens health services.
  • Providing supervision and mentorship to junior doctors and medical students.
  • Participating in clinical governance quality improvement initiatives and oncall rosters.
  • Collaborating with midwives allied health and general practitioners to ensure continuity of care in a regional context.

About the Hospital & Department
The hospital is a key regional referral centre servicing a broad geographic area offering a wide range of acute and subacute services. The O&G department provides 24/7 obstetric cover with a consultantled model supporting approximately 400 births annually. Facilities include a modern birthing suite operating theatres antenatal clinic and emergency support services.

About You

  • Current registration or eligibility for registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
