Apple Autos is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Used Car Buyer to join our team. As a Used Car Buyer you will be responsible for evaluation and acquiring used vehicles for our inventory. If you have a deep understanding of the used car market excellent negotiation skills and a passion for quality we encourage you to apply. Our dealership has been rated a Top Minnesota Workplace in the Star Tribune for the last 6 years and were looking to add a passionate problemsolver to our winning team and help us continue a legacy of excellence.
What Youll Do
- Research and identify potential sources of used cars private sellers.
- Inspect and appraise vehicles to determine their condition value and market potential.
- Negotiate purchase prices and terms with sellers striving for the best possible deals.
- Stay up to date on market trends values and demand for different makes and models.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and sales.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure inventory meets customer demands.
- Uphold ethical and legal standards in all transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service to sellers and vendors.
What Youll Bring
- Prefer experience in buying used cars ideally in a dealership or automotive industry.
- Strong communication skills.
- Detailoriented with the ability to assess a vehicles condition accurately.
- Valid drivers license and the ability to travel for inspections and purchases.
- Understanding of legal and ethical consideration in the used car buying process.
