Opportunity Equipment Maintenance Technician
Pay Rate: Up to $33/hr. (based on experience.)
Locations: Oakwood Flowery Branch and Newnan.

Maintenance Technicians will be directly responsible for supporting various equipment within our Lumber operations which can includes Bunk Cutters Dust Collectors EWP saws Norfield door equipment exc. They will respond to service calls preventative maintenance breakdowns and or supporting the operations team as needed. The technician will perform a variety of work to ensure the equipment is maintained in a safe and effective working condition. In state travel will be required. Company vehicle and tools will be provided.
Day to Day:
- Maintain and repair a variety of equipment across multiple facilities around Atlanta which include Oakwood Flowery Branch and Newnan.
- Responding to service calls PMS breakdowns and supporting operations
- Document all work performed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Communicate findings or support needed with Supervisor or other team members.
- Work with outside contractors or vendors when needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
- Support Maintenance Inventory
- Follow lockout tag out and other safety procedures.

Skill set:
- Great Attitude and a Team Player!
- Possession of a valid Drivers license
- 2 years maintenance experience preferredOR equivalent trade school/degree/certification.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Ability to travel short term and work OT as needed.
- Must be able to work independently or in a group setting.
- Light experience using forklifts scissor lifts and other PIVs.
- Computer literacy; Microsoft Teams Word Excel Outlook
Post offer drug test and background check required.
