Job Description
Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of eCommerce and Advertising offering a range of digital advertising solutions with the goal of helping our customers discover and shop for anything they want to buy.
The Amazon Advertising business is growing at a fast pace and this teams mission is to apply technology to accelerate that growth through bestinclass software engineering data engineering and business intelligence. The team is looking for motivated thoughtful selfstarters who can contribute right away to the design and development of these new products and who can partner closely with our teams to deliver products that truly move the needle for innovation.
A qualified candidate for this role enjoys working with end users developing customerfocused UX workflows and web services and solving business problems with extensible software solutions . Key job responsibilities
* Designs and independently implements key features solving difficult software problems for our partners potentially spanning multiple areas of Amazons advertising ecosystem.
* Solves complex technical problems with simple solutions wherever possible
* Demonstrates knowledge and use of coding and testing best practices
* Influences the teams technical direction and maintains a high quality bar having a direct impact on both software quality and experience for our users
* Effectively communicates technical and nontechnical ideas to diverse audiences
* Collaborates with peers and mentors to receive guidance and acts as a mentor to others as required
* Cultivates relationships with partner teams

Amazon Worldwide Advertising is one of Amazons fastest growing and most profitable businesses. Partner Experience and Growth (PEG) organization leverages advanced analytics and experimentation to unlock value for our advertising partners and mutual customers i.e. the advertisers.
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
