About Wayne Hospital
Serving the region since 1957 this 99bed fullservice acute care center is the only one in the Wayne Westland Garden City Canton Inkster and Romulus area verified by the American College of Surgeons as a Level III trauma center and certified by The Joint Commission. The hospital has a longstanding partnership with Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to handle a variety of health and communicable disease concerns. This communityfocused hospital has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a highpreforming facility in congestive heart failure chronic obstructive pulmonary disease kidney failure and maternal services.
Qualifications
- Required Associates Degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associates degree from an ACEN accredited diploma program.
- Required Bachelors Degree B.S.N M.S.N DNP/PhD if not minimum BSN prepared new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to sign an educational contract upon hire to complete BSN within specified timeframe and adhere to contract stipulations. RN mush enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within the next five (5) years. This is effective April 18 2023.

- LICDrivers License STATEMI State of Michigan Home Infusion Upon Hire required
- CRTBasic Life Support (BLS) AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
- CRTBasic Life Support (BLS) ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
- CRTChemotherapy Biotherapy ONCC Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation Adult Infusion 1 Year required Or
- CRTChemotherapy Biotherapy ONS #N/A Adult Infusion 1 Year
- CRTOncology Certified Nurse ONCC Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation Upon Hire preferred
