The Kotton and Alysandratos Labs have an open position for a laboratory technician. Our labs are part of the Center for Regenerative Medicine (CReM) at Boston University. You will work as part of a highly motivated team focused on studying interstitial lung disease using iPSCderived lung lineages. We offer exciting research and a strong focus on mentorship. You will learn a wide variety of techniques such as pluripotent stem cell culture directed differentiation RT qPCR flow cytometry immunofluorescence and imaging.
Responsibilities:You will be working in the lab performing experiments analyzing data and reporting results.
Specific duties will involve:
Required qualifications: A Bachelors degree in Biology or a related field is required. Excellent organizational and communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Candidates with prior experience working in a laboratory environment are encouraged to apply. An excellent candidate will have experience with cell culture and/or standard molecular biology techniques (RNA extraction RTqPCR immunofluorescence)
