Medical Review Auditor Analyst (Remote Charlotte Area)

Job Summary:
Conduent is seeking an experienced Medical Review Auditor Analystto join our team. This individual will work closely with our hospitalclients and internal stakeholders utilizing industry/proprietary tools to ensure that audits are conducted successfully. You will be working remotely within the Charlotte area with occasional travel required. Youll report directly to the Sr. Operations Manager.
Work Schedule: Monday Friday first (1st) shift. This is an exempt/salaried position with benefits starting on your first day of employment.
Responsibilities:
- Auditing medical bills for unrelated charges overpayments/reimbursements and overall accuracy.
- Assessing payments against regulatory or administrative charges coding and billing errors to identify inaccuracies in billing or reimbursement.
- Conducting medical audits using methodologies to identify healthcare overpayments and underpayments to providers.
- Applying knowledge of provider billing and patient accounting systems to ensure accurate research for potential overpayments.
- Developing maintaining and ensuring adherence to client policies regulations and guidelines.
- Performing other tasks as directed by management.
Requirements:
- A bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration Business Management or related fields is highly desired but not required. Ten (10) years of hospital billing experience may substitute for a degree.
- Must have hospital business office experience.
- Strong mathematical skills to perform audits accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to collaborate with teams across the USA to ensure success and customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industryspecific software.
- Experience in an auditing role healthcare industry or insurance is highly desired but not required.
- Experience in industries such as Accounting Finance or Healthcare Administration is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
- Must be selfsufficient and able to work independently without constant supervision.
- Comfortable working remotely and occasionally onsite at client locations or hospitals.
- Strong communication skills (interpersonal written and verbal).
- Must be dependable and willing to travel as required.
- Must have a valid drivers license.

For this position actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to location experience and performance. In addition to base pay this position may be eligible for bonuses or incentives. The estimated salary range for this role is ($57750 $75000)
