PROJECT
We are looking for a Senior Java GCP Software Engineers to join a team developing a nextgeneration data management platform for the airline industry. The platform processes and analyzes massive volumes of data from various sources to enhance decisionmaking optimize business operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences. As the product undergoes a major cloud transformation to GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) this is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a highly impactful and scalable system. Youll work with a talented team that values collaboration knowledge sharing and innovation.
YOU WILL
- Design develop test and debug moderately complex software components
- Lead and mentor other developers contributing to team growth and success
- Actively participate in all stages of the software development life cycle
- Collaborate with Product Owners Architects and stakeholders to refine business requirements and propose technical solutions
- Contribute to the evolution of the platform architecture and cloud migration efforts
- Promote best practices such as TDD clean code and continuous delivery
MUST HAVE
- 4 years of experience in Java (11) development including enterpriselevel applications
- At least 1 year of experience with GKE or other containerized cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of DevOps automation using Ansible
- Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit TestNG and Mockito
- Solid knowledge of SOAP/REST web services and XML technologies
- Handson experience with relational databases (preferably Oracle)
- Familiarity with tools such as Git IntelliJ Maven Jenkins
- Good knowledge of Linuxbased systems
- Strong communication skills in English and a proactive teamoriented approach
NICE TO HAVE
- Handson experience with GCP services Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Practical experience with Spring Core and Spring Boot frameworks
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloudnative application design
