This role is crucial in ensuring that pets receive immediate and effective medical attention stabilizing conditions and delivering expert care during emergencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat emergency conditions in animals promptly and effectively.
- Perform emergency surgeries wound management and critical care procedures as needed.
- Assess animal health through physical examinations and diagnostic tests.
- Stabilize pets during critical situations and provide lifesaving treatments.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to explain diagnoses treatment plans and prognoses.
- Work collaboratively with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver highquality care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records of patients.
- Ensure compliance with all veterinary medical standards policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid veterinary license in the state of Specify State.
- Minimum of Specify Years years of experience in emergency or critical care settings preferred.
- Proficient in emergency medical procedures and diagnostics.
