Job Description
The Fall Intern will be a member and key contributor of the RBC Capital Markets (RBCCM) Business Transformation and Governance (BTG) team which supports the organization by working closely with business partners across the entire platform.
In this role you will support the Supplier Management Office to provide analysis for implementation and improvement of processes workflow project management methods computer systems and other tools to supportpolicy administration and customer service.
What will you do
- Apply exceptional business acumen and strategic/financial analysis to support the execution of projects and/or project tasks including planning analysis assessment of alternatives developing recommendations and communication of results
- Regularly report progress of work stream status milestones achievements and risks/issues in both formal and informal settings
- Support the preparation/content creation for executive presentations
What do you need to succeed
Musthave:
- Experience with business problem solving
- Excellent business communication skills
- Financial acumen
- Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel (pivot tables lookups)
- Eagerness to learn and strong interest in Capital Markets
Nicetohave:
- Previous coop/internship experience in a similar role
- General knowledge of Capital Markets industry/products (e.g. Corporate & Investment Banking Global Markets etc.)and/or experience working in Capital Markets
