Senior Legal Counsel: Litigation

About the role:
- Lead complex litigation before tribunals and courts (including the Supreme Court and NCAT)
- Manage legal investigations into unauthorised or misleading conduct
- Draft legal documents prepare court submissions and oversee witness coordination
- Provide legal advice and take instructions from governing committees
- Supervise and mentor a team of junior litigation staff
The ideal candidate:
- Admitted Australian Lawyer with a current practising certificate
- Extensive litigation experience across various courts and tribunals
- Proven leadership and team supervision experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of legal regulatory frameworks and natural justice principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent judgment
- Ability to manage complex case files and competing priorities in a busy legal environment
- Committed to high ethical standards and continuous legal education
