NEPEAN Longwall (a division of NEPEAN) partners with its customers to design engineer integrate and support longwall equipment and systems. With purposebuilt facilities located in both Queensland and New South Wales NEPEAN Longwall offers a full suite of aftersales services enabling it to support products throughout their life cycle. The experienced committed and motivated team at NEPEAN Longwall has demonstrated their capability over many years to deliver longwall equipment and system solutions.

Our Opportunity
Due to continued growth NEPEAN Longwall is currently seeking Boilermakers to join the team on 6month contract positions with opportunities for full time roles based on performance. These opportunities are fulltime and based in Kurri Kurri NSW with available AM and PM shift options.

Daily duties will include but are not limited to:

• Perform structural and component fabrication on Longwall Mining Equipment

• Perform repairs and maintenance on Longwall Mining Equipment

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

• Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards

The Right Person
To be considered for this opportunity you will have:

• Trade qualification

• Structural steel fabrication experience (essential)

• Overhead crane experience

• High attention to detail

• Legal rights to work in Australia

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Ability to work on either AM or PM shift
