JOB SUMMARY
Join Oshkosh Aerotech as a Building Automation System (BAS) Technician responsible for maintaining troubleshooting and optimizing automated building systems. Youll closely monitor system operations swiftly address alarms and analyze performance data to proactively identify and resolve issues. Through preventive maintenance and precise adjustments youll ensure system reliability efficiency and compliance with safety standards. This role is ideal for someone who is detailoriented datadriven and dedicated to maintaining exceptional operational performance.

YOUR IMPACT

Maintain troubleshoot and operate the Building Automation System (BAS).
Monitor BAS operations and alarms to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Analyze BAS data for trends and proactively address potential problems.
Perform preventive maintenance cleaning and repairs on electrical and control components.
Adjust BAS settings through approved processes to optimize system performance.
Maintain accurate inventory records and field equipment data.
Ensure cleanliness of equipment and work areas to support optimal performance.
Comply with the company safety program and trainings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Drivers License.
two years experience maintaining troubleshooting calibrating repairing or installing Building Automation Systems (BAS) or related equipment.
Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
Ability to operate company vehicles daily.
Availability for oncall work including occasional evenings weekends and holidays.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to collaborate effectively with teams customers consultants and vendors.
PREFFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associates or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Texas Journeyman Electrical License.
Experience with Andover Schneider or Johnson Controls systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Skilled with laptops multimeters and calibration equipment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of the Building Automation System (BAS) Technician the employee is regularly required to stand; sit; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop kneel crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and work in small spaces. Ladder work . The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in outside weather conditions on an airport ramp around aircrafts and the confined areas of baggage conveyor systems. Specific vision abilities required by this job include good close proximity vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT
The primary work environment is officebased but also involves working outdoors on active airport ramps near moving vehicles aircraft heavy equipment and mechanical parts with regular exposure to loud noise and varying weather conditions.
