Overview
Position: Occupational Therapist Ortho/Oncology
Location: 17101 Snowmobile Ln Ste 202. Eagle River AK 99577
Schedule: Monday Friday
Compensation: Salary starting at $88000/yr (pending experience)
Incentives: $5k bonus student debt program
Our Eagle River Select Physical Therapy outpatient center continues to expand and we are seeking a compassionate and driven occupational therapist to provide exceptional patient care experiences on a full time basis. This clinic currently treats a diverse patient case mix including ortho and some neuro and is looking to add to our growing ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation program team. Ideal candidates will possess an strong interest in cancer rehab and be passionate and motivated to work alongside the ReVital program director to expand access to specialty services in the Eagle River area. Adult outpatient experience required student rotations considered.

ReVital is an innovative oncology rehabilitation program offered exclusively by Select Medical. Our vision is to establish comprehensive cancer rehabilitation as a standard of care for people affected by cancer. Our network of 900 specially trained multidisciplinary therapists work closely with oncologists and people affected by cancer to create personalized rehabilitation plans.

Responsibilities
- Maintain open and respectful communication with all parties
- Understand and adhere to state practice acts and laws governing OTs
- Complete and maintain required trainings
- Maintain compliance with government regulations
- Evaluate treat and direct treatment for patients
- Provide clear documentation
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in occupational therapy
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice
- CPR certified
- Adult OP ortho experience (student rotations considered)
Preferred:
- Interest/experience in cancer rehabilitation
