Director Program ManagerWhat does a successful Director of Program Management do at Fiserv
A successful Director of Program Management at Fiserv leads and oversees multiple largescale projects ensuring their timely budgetconscious and highquality delivery. This role involves managing critical initiatives including significant projects like data center relocations to maintain our operational excellence and strategic objectives.
What you will do:
- Lead and manage the Program Management Office (PMO) establishing best practices for project management aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee the planning execution and successful completion of large projects ensuring timely budgetconscious and highquality delivery.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define project scope objectives and deliverables developing and adjusting comprehensive project plans as necessary.
- Implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential project risks ensuring successful outcomes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders providing regular updates on project status and performance metrics.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement mentoring project management personnel and incorporating lessons learned into future projects
What you will need to have:
- 10 years of experience in program or project management with a proven track record of managing large complex projects.
- 8 years of experience with project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall) and tools (e.g. Microsoft Project Jira).
- 8 years of experience in leadership roles demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to motivate teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- PMP or similar project management certification.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Project Management or a related field; and/or military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Masters degree preferred and/or equivalent military experience.
