Job Description

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role you will:

  • perform any combination of the following: Operate tend monitor

    service changeovers make minor adjustments assemble disassemble clean and sterilize one or more of a variety of

    production related equipment in compliance with equipment product and process cGMPs and safety/security

    regulations.

    Assure that equipment is operating properly reports and/or corrects malfunctions and may assist others in complex

    set up/repair operations.

    Complete a variety of accountability reports pull samples for identification/testing and may perform routine

    product/process functional tests on line.

    Assure area housekeeping standards are maintained that all environmental specifications are met by using a variety of

    sanitizing aids such as steam water floor buffers and cleaning solvents.

    Identify all inprocess commodities and verify that they are consistent with the work order and perform line clearances.

    Incumbent performs these and other duties including special assignments as necessary or required.

    Perform other related duties as assigned or required.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant experience
  • Proficiency in math and reading skills for understanding Standard Operating Procedures Good Manufacturing Practices (also cGMP) and Batch Record comprehension
  • Ability to follow instructions provided in written oral or diagram form
  • Capability to perform tasks under demanding conditions
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment operation

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Familiarity with automated packaging equipment
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail


PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Stand up to 812 hours per shift sit for up to 24 hours per shift twist at waist 10 times per hour regularly lift up to 20

pounds per activity 5 times per shift occasionally lift a maximum of 50 pounds per activity 1 time per shift walk climb

stairs climb ladders/walk on catwalks

Use computer terminal 1 hour per shift respond to visual warning indicators respond to audible warning indicators respond to color or special visual indicators work around moving equipment work with chemicals work in hearing conservation area work on knees occasionally.


NONSTANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

May require OT and work on nonscheduled days given production.



The salary for this position ranges from $1862 to $3103 per hour. In addition this position offers eligibility for overtime weekend holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Companys policies.
