Como Clnico de Salud Mental en Puentes tendrs la oportunidad de:
- Involucrarte con la Comunidad Realizar actividades de divulgacin evaluaciones y registrar a clientes en los servicios que necesiten.
- Brindar Atencin Culturalmente Competente Ofrecer tratamiento de salud mental basado en evidencia y con enfoque en el trauma en espaol e ingls.
- Apoyar la Recuperacin y la Autosuficiencia Facilitar sesiones de terapia individual y grupal desarrollar planes de tratamiento basados en fortalezas y coordinar la gestin de casos.
- Colaborar para Generar Impacto Trabajar con un equipo interdisciplinario y socios comunitarios para garantizar un apoyo integral a los clientes.
- Promover la Equidad y la Inclusin Abordar los impactos de las barreras sistmicas el racismo estructural y los prejuicios para mejorar los resultados de los clientes.

Location: Puentes is located on the Eastside in South East Portland Or.
Salary Starting at: $62000 annually and potential to increase based on experience licensure and certifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must meet qualifications for:
- QMHPR or QMHP
- CSWA
- LPCa or LPC
- LMFTA or LMFT
- LCSW
- Must have a Masters Degree.
- Must have experience working with the Latino culture.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Current CPR certification required prior to start.
- One year of mental health experience preferred.
- CADCR at minimum preferred.
- Must meet CCC privileging requirements as required by FTCA.
- Has the competencies necessary to:
- Identify precipitating events;
- Gather histories of mental emotional and physical disabilities alcohol and drug use past mental health services and criminal justice contacts;
- Assess family social and work relationships
- Conduct a mental status assessment
- Document a DSM diagnosis
- Write and implement or supervise implementation of a treatment plan
- Conduct and document a mental health assessment
- Provide mental health treatment and rehabilitative services within ones scope of practice
- Ability to adhere to Central City Concerns drugfree workplace which encourages a safe healthy and productive work environment and strictly complies with the DrugFree Work Place Act of 1988. An employee shall not in the workplace unlawfully manufacture distribute dispense possess or use a controlled substance or alcohol.
- Must pass a preemployment drug screen TB test and background check. This includes clearance by the DHS Background Check Unit.
- If using a vehicle for agency use must possess a current drivers license pass DMV background check and be designated an acceptable driver as outlined in Central City Concerns Fleet Safety Policy. Must pass initial Annual Drivers training and then pass annual Recertification training. Must maintain vehicle insurance coverage of a minimum onehundred thousand / threehundred thousand dollars in personal auto liability coverage.
- Must adhere to agencys nondiscrimination policies.
- Ability to effectively interact with coworkers and clients with diverse ethnic backgrounds religious views cultural backgrounds lifestyles and sexual orientations and treat each individual with respect and dignity.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Participate in culturally specific outreach efforts to engage prospective clients.
- Conduct screenings and complete necessary enrollment paperwork.
- Collect information regarding clients history through a combination of interviewing records review and consultation after obtaining written consent;
- Conduct and document Mental Health Assessments including mental status exam DSM diagnosis and clinical formulation.
- Develop strengthsbased treatment plan with client. Participate in clinical staff meetings and case conferences with team members in order to utilize interdisciplinary expertise and facilitate individual treatment plans for clients.
- Coordinate case management for individuals in caseload.
- Conduct educational and therapeutic mental health groups for clients using approved curriculum.
- Participate in admission and discharge planning for any client needing hospitalization or subacute level of care. Monitor and assure that the health and safety needs of clients are met.
- Utilize Evidencebased Practices in work with clients in individual and group formats.
- Coordinate services with all members of clients support network.
- Maintain client records as required by program standards and funding requirements;
- Participate in training opportunities to advance skills and knowledge in addictions and mental health.
- Works within scope of training and experience and seeks consultation when appropriate.
- Adhere to all state and federal privacy regulations and support compliance with all privacy and security requirements including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 and to CCC policies and agreements regarding confidentiality privacy and security.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
