The OpportunityWere looking for a South Carolina State Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role youll assist with preparing prescriptions compounding medications and supporting a smooth accurate and friendly pharmacy experience. If youre detailoriented dependable and excited about patientfocused care wed love to hear from you.
What Youll DoAssist pharmacists in compounding nonsterile medications and preparing prescriptions accurately.
Verify ingredients and dosages in accordance with USP <795>/<797> guidelines.
Process prescriptions handle insurance claims and assist with patient questions.
Maintain inventory receive shipments and track lot numbers and expiration dates.
Ensure compliance with SC Board of Pharmacy HIPAA and DEA regulations.
Provide exceptional customer service with empathy and professionalism.
Required:
Active South Carolina State Certified Pharmacy Technician registration.
National certification (PTCB or NHA).
Completion of Boardapproved training and 1000 hours of supervised pharmacy experience.
Knowledge of compounding processes or willingness to learn.
Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
Preferred:
Experience in a compounding pharmacy.
Familiarity with pharmacy software (e.g. PioneerRx).
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
