Join our Rates Technology team as a Senior Associate Software Engineer driving innovation in pricing and trade capture tools for global financial markets.

The Opportunity: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Associate Software Engineer to join our Rates Technology team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with traders quantitative researchers and other stakeholders to design and deliver marketleading technology products. You will be a key player in building robust solutions that drive our business forward leveraging the latest technologies and engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Front Office Quants and IT stakeholders to understand business requirements and propose innovative technical solutions.
- Design develop and maintain highquality secure and scalable software applications.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications ensuring design constraints are met.
- Execute software solutions including development testing and technical troubleshooting with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Gather analyze and synthesize data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and explore new and emerging technologies.
- Provide firstline production support to traders and marketers ensuring seamless operation of our applications.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and provide firstclass L3 support to the trading application.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Masters or PhD in Financial Engineering Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field.
- Handson experience in system design application development testing and operational stability.
- Proficient in coding with Java and experience with Linux messaging queues SQL and Git/Maven.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies such as CI/CD.
- Experience with Jenkins and a good understanding of infrastructure management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a global organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in front office investment banking and knowledge of Rates Derivatives.
- Familiarity with modern frontend technologies and cloud platforms.
- Experience with testdriven development continuous integration and agile methodologies.
- Ability to provide firstline production support and manage highpressure environments.
