2025 Fall – Global Procurement, Developer, Intern (8 Months)

Are you interested in an exciting opportunity at RBC as a Developer for 8 Months
You will work closely with the Product and Technical teams to scale the existing capability of RBCs employee expense technology platform (SAP Concur). For this role we are looking for an individual to assist in driving process improvements by developing an MVP for integrating with RBC Enterprise solutions.

What will you do

• Design develop and test an MVP for the Concur Product Team.
• Use technologies (e.g. Python JavaScript GitHub etc.) to build a proof of concept/prototype.
• Develop RESTful APIs and web services to support integrations with enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with business users and senior leaders to gather requirements and brainstorm solutions.
• Create and review technical design documents understand how the design will be used in the code development process and facilitate meetings to design troubleshoot and execute projects.
• Participate in system integration data mapping and testing activities to ensure seamless integration.

What do you need to succeed

Musthave

• Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or Engineering bachelors degree.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Team player with a strong desire to collaborate to generate solutions.
• Creative and analytical thinker who is selfdriven and capable of working in a fastpaced environment.

Nicetohave

• Understanding of web technologies and frameworks (e.g. React Flask Django).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs webhooks and microservices architecture.
• Basic knowledge of database platforms (e.g. SQL MongoDB) is an asset.

This posting is for a 8months Fall 2025 student placement with a start date of September 2025 and end date of April 2026. In order tobe eligible for these student positions you must either:

• Bereturning backto school after the work term enddate (April 24 2026); or
• If you are not returning back to school ( graduating immediately after the work term) you must require the full work term as a mandatory component in order to graduate successfully
