Job Description
Position: Build Crew Member
Location: Oaks Amusement Park Portland Oregon
Type: Temporary/Seasonal
Start Date: September 2nd
End Date: November 28th
Pay: $18$23 DOE
About Us: Vendetta Productions LLC in partnership with Oaks Amusement Park is excited to present Scaregrounds PDX Portlands premier Halloween haunted house event! We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our Build Crew for the setup and tear down of this thrilling seasonal attraction.
Job Description: As a member of the Build Crew you will play a crucial role in transforming Oaks Amusement Park into a thrilling and spooky haunted house experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting up haunted houses and themed attractions.
- Assembling and dismantling tents.
- Decorating the venue with Halloweenthemed props and decorations.
- Painting and applying finishing touches to various elements.
- Performing light construction tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and safe setup and tear down processes.
- Follow detailed instructions and guidelines to achieve the desired aesthetic and structural outcomes.
- Handle decorations props and construction materials with care.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Ensure all work is completed on time and meets quality standards.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Basic knowledge of construction and painting techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Reliable transportation to Oaks Amusement Park.
- Flexibility to work various shifts potentially including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event setup construction or related fields.
- Familiarity with Halloween or themed event decor.
