Job Description

We are seeking aQA Engineerwith a strong background in automationparticularly withJMeterto help us ensure the highest level of quality across our product suite. This role will focus on developing robust testing strategies automating functional tests and collaborating closely with crossfunctional teams to uphold our commitment to secure and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design implement and maintain comprehensive test strategies test plans and test cases across functional and integration testing.
• Develop and optimizeautomated scripts primarily usingJMeter to support a CI/CD pipeline.
• Execute manual and automated testing including regression functional UI and API testing.
• Utilize and help refine Aperias test frameworks forFunctional AutomationSecurity andPenetration Testing.
• Analyze and translate user stories and business requirements into detailed test scenarios and scripts.
• Ensure thorough test coverage while balancing time constraints and business priorities.
• Select recommend and support tools such asPostmandatabase testing andlog analysis tools (e.g. Splunk)for endtoend validation.
• Lead the testing effort within agile teams; collaborate on design and code reviews to ensure testability.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including Product DevOps and Security to embed quality into our development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Functional Responsibilities

• Actively engage with Scrum teams to resolve product issues quickly and effectively.
• Conduct and leadregression testingbased on impact analysis.
• Communicate findings clearly and proactively to relevant stakeholders.
• Manage priorities and multitask across multiple projects while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Promote adherence toAgileScrumTDDBDD and other best practices in software development and testing.
• Communicate effectively through Teams SharePoint GitHub and other collaborative platforms.
• Contribute to an inclusive and highperformance team culture that values transparency ownership and accountability.

Technical Skills

• 34 yearsof handson QA experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
• At least12 yearsJMeterautomation experience withforfunctional testing(Note: not used for performance testing at Aperia).
• Experience withPostmanSQL/DB testingSplunk and writing/maintaining test plans and strategies.
• Proven expertise in API and UI automation.
• Deep understanding of QA frameworks and SDLC methodologies.
• Experience working withinCI/CD pipelinesand test code integration.
• Proficient in REST/SOAP JSON XML and web technologies such asReactJS.
• Familiarity with Secure Software Development Framework (SSDF) and Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices.
• Experience testinghighperformance highthroughput web applications.
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience with or ability to learn Aperias internal tools likeProvaandViewTrx

• Knowledge in security testing performance testing performance tuning is a definite plus.
• Passion for achieving excellence in technical process product quality and reliability.
• Must be extremely detail and technology oriented and have excellent communications skills.
• Experience in collaborating with global teams to lead QA initiatives is a definite plus.
