Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW: This role is crucial in driving our cross functional initiatives setting up processes and implementing tools to enhance executional excellence and accountability across various projects. The PMO Senior Project Manager will be the lead Project Manager on critical cross functional initiatives and continuous improvement opportunities. Additionally the role will be responsible for designing the PM framework across WFC standardizing processes improving project efficiency and aligning initiatives with business goals. The PMO structure and design must be lightweight flexible and efficient leveraging a hybrid approach of both waterfall and agile methodologies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and facilitate indepth discovery and requirements definition meetings subsequent agile meetings including sprint planning for software development appropriate standups sprint reviews and retrospective.
- Implement and optimize front office operations infrastructure processes and tools. Leverage both Continuous Improvement methodologies and tools along with Project Management skills.
- Develop and implement project plans ensuring timelines budgets and deliverables are accurately tracked.
- Manage project risks and issues developing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine project goals scope and deliverables.
- Monitor and report on project progress using appropriate metrics and visual management tools.
- Foster a culture of collaboration selfefficiency and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with the product owner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in business administration Information Technology or related field
- 5 years of experience in project management preferably in a Sales Manufacturing and Distribution environment
- Strong knowledge of Business ERP systems PM methodologies and best practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. Monday Asana)
- Proven history of successfully delivering complex cross functional projects using modern project management methodologies
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Agile and Waterfall Expertise: Deep understanding of agile and waterfall principles to establish appropriate hybrid approach per project type. Experience in Scrum Kanban methods
- Expertise and practical experience using Lean Six Sigma tools for improvement opportunity projects.
- Leadership: Ability to guide and motivate crossfunctional teams
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders
- Problemsolving: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to address project challenges
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust strategies in response to changing project requirements
- Organization: Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Travel 510%
COMPENSATION
- Base Salary: $125000 $135000 per year
- Annual Bonus: 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance.
