Hitachi Energy India Development Centre (IDC) is a research and development facility with around 500 R&D engineers specialists and experts who focus on creating and sustaining digital solutions new products and technology. This includes product integration testing cybersecurity and certification. The India Development Centre is situated in Chennai and Bangalore. IDC collaborates with the R&D and Research centers of Hitachi Energy which are spread across more than 15 locations throughout 12 countries. In the past 20 years IDC has secured more than 200 international papers and 150 patents.

Mission Statement:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer to join our team of R&D Engineers. A person interested in the field of test automation framework Development.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Test Automation Framework Development Engineer to design develop and maintain automated testing frameworks for power converter control systems.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development for automated testing and control system experience.

Your Background:

  • Bachelors or masters degree in electrical engineering Electronics engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation with a focus on control systems.

  • Experience of languages in Python must have.

  • C C# Java are added advantage.

  • Control software design experience in MATLAB/Simulink or other control platforms is an advantage.

  • Experience of Migrating codes from other languages to python.

  • Previous knowledge and efficient use of development and build tools such as Visual Studio Azure DevOps pipelines GitHub etc.

  • Any other software or IT expertise (e.g. security safety communication protocols system engineering testing performance engineering) is preferred.

  • Experience working in an Agile development team would be an advantage.

  • Team spirit with the capacity to work independently complemented by a quick intellect welldeveloped analytical skills and proactive work style.
