Job Title: CYJS Business Support Officer Grade 4

We are looking for an enthusiastic highly motivated Business Support Officer to enhance our already established friendly and supportive team who will contribute to the key work of the Child and Youth justice service.
Lancashire Child and Youth Justice Service works with children aged 818 either involved with or at risk of entering the Youth Justice System. Our guiding principles as a service are:

The service provides support to children their families victims and communities through enhancing the safety of children and supporting opportunities for them to achieve positive futures.
This post within the Child and Youth Justice Service is based at Marsh Lane Preston PR1 8RR and provides county wide support for Lancashire Child and Youth Justice Service.
The Business Support Team is crucial to ensure there is consistency of service delivery. You could be really experienced in administration or looking to build on your previous experience and there is no better place to do this than with us.
What we are looking for:
Passion Youll be passionate about delivering a great service and experience its what will motivate you getting it right first time asking for support when you need it and building on the skills that youve developed elsewhere.
Knowledge and Experience Ideally you will have experience of working within an administration setting and have knowledge of using Microsoft packages and databases.
Great Communication Youll be engaging and providing advice to Managers Social Workers families members of the public and the rest of the team daily so being able to clearly communicate the information you need and listen to individual requirements is key.

Working arrangements
We are currently working a combination of home and office working; therefore you will be required to have a suitable working space within your home and broadband connection. If you are unable to provide a suitable homeworking environment you will be required to work from your office base or nearest suitable office location for your nonoffice working hours.
