Position Summary
Why Its a Great Opportunity:In this exciting role as an Endpoint Engineer Lead you will be at the forefront of providing innovative technical solutions managing impactful projects and offering enterprisewide technical support within the primary endpoint engineering group in IT Client Technology Services. Your expertise will be crucial in designing architecting and implementing cuttingedge enterprise system solutions for all enduser IT services and computing devices serving the organizations 3500 users. You will be using modern toolsets such as Microsofts MECM and Intune for providing operational support. Additionally you will play a key role in overseeing the IT service delivery team coordinating work efforts and fostering professional development through coaching and mentoring. Your ability to effectively communicate complex technical topics and options to nontechnical County staff and leadership will be essential in driving success and ensuring clarity across the organization. Core Daily Responsibilities:
- Perform complex high level mission critical technical functions in a desktop networking administration data resource management and/or server environment.
- Provide highly skilled operational support for a variety of user system platforms including handheld desktop workstation and laptop hardware associated operating systems and application software.
- Specialize in providing advanced level technical support for entire County within specific wide reaching mission critical assigned hardware or software tool areas.
- Provide advanced level technical strategic planning and implementation of new user system platform technology standards.
- Provide advanced direct consulting services for customer departments regarding technology budgeting computing solutions clientoriented technology project implementation relocation services and user application productivity including meeting training needs.
- Analyze and clearly communicate (both written and oral) complex issues requiring IT strategic decisions.
- Manage and execute IT projects in assignment areas. Contribute on cross divisional teams in large IT projects.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

- A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in information technology computer sciences business public administration or related field AND
- Six or more years of information technology experience required.
