Responsibilities
The position is responsible for inventory control for the Mooresville location and reports up through the Warehouse Manager. This position is primarily MF 7am 3:30pm and may fluctuate based on business need.
Responsibilities:
Safety
- Maintain awareness of all safety policies and procedures for the job
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures including lockout/tagout.
- Remain aware of surroundings and obtain knowledge of all required PPE for the job
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Report any safety concern risk hazard near miss or injury immediately to the appropriate supervision on shift
- Ensure each task is done safely report any suggestions or improvements to your manager
Quality
- Follow all guidelines for GMP
- Report any concerns of building or equipment failures that may lead to quality defects of product
- Support timely resolution of any building or equipment failures
Productivity
- Responsible for the warehouse and production inventory
- Serve as a key liaison to various internal customers for all stock inventory allocation requirements.
- Responsible for the daily execution of stock inventory movements in LES/PTP.
- Analyze reconcile and resolve inventory discrepancies daily using root cause analysis.
- Lead the execution of the inventory record accuracy through weekly cycle counting and annual physical inventory requirements.
- Required to be an active participant during internal/external inventory audits and product recalls.
- Assure that slow moving product inventory is reviewed and disposition in a timely manner
- Maintain positive professional and timely communications within various internal customers as well as with external contacts
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement process.
- Adapt to flexible work assignments to support business volume and/or department requirements.
- Validate finished goods discrepancies: use KSB1/KOB1 to validate TOVarsreverse as required. Record any discrepancies in G drive.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required with 4 years logistics experience.
- Proven experience with inventory control processes
- Must be Forklift certified.
- Must have strong organization skills and be detail oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize work responsibilities with sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
- High energy and motivated individual with the ability to effectively interact and communicate with internal and external customers.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to be a team player and work with little supervision.
- Strong and proven computer skills: Microsoft Office Applications and SAP experience

Located 30 miles north of Charlotte Mooresville is a large town located in south western section of Iredell County North Carolina and is a part of the fastgrowing Charlotte Metro area. The population was 32711 at the 2010 United States Census.
The plant was built in 1966 manufactures cups lids and trays and has approximately 600 employees. This plant was also awarded the Safety Plant of the Year and Food Service Manufacturer of the Year Award.
