This is a nonunion positionEnbridge is actively seeking a Advisor Accounts Payable. This dynamic person will be responsible for aiding and partnering with the Supervisor Accounts Payable in executing the goals of the Accounts Payable team. Working with internal enterprise wide stakeholders within Operations (e.g. functional leaders of GTM Liquids Utilities Power) and Corporate (e.g. functional leaders of Projects Finance TIS SCM Regulatory Legal) to provide technically sound strategic and tactical recommendations to resolve stakeholder issues based on highly specialized expertise in processes controls and accounting under considerable time pressure.

What You Will Do:
Enterprise wide service provider Accounts Payable services touch nearly every group within the enterprise requiring strong relationship building communication skills and critical thinking to evaluate the issues and needs of a diverse array of stakeholders (e.g. operational groups Liquids GTM Utilities Power corporate groups SCM Projects Legal HR Regulatory TIS Finance)
Role requires in depth relationship building with dozens of senior level leaders in diverse and varied groups across the enterprise as well as their teams
Processes Create efficiencies and reduce undue complexity to allow shared services team to support the business more efficiently and effectively
Controls Harmonization of controls to promote efficiency and support Internal Controls over Financial Reporting
Complexity of work is extremely high due to the high number of stakeholders across the enterprise the varied nature of the needs of each of the stakeholders and the technical expertise and critical thinking necessary to create manage and execute resolutions to issues and establish processes to ensure a smooth business outcome and to ensure level and quality of service is appropriate and consistent
Who You Are:
A university degree and four or more years of related experience.
Advanced understanding of systems processes and company structure especially in relation to AP and ProcuretoPay; such as Oracle R12 Oracle Cloud SAP.

Proven and consistent ability to organize large amounts of information.
Superior business writing presentation preparation and public speaking skills.
Persuasive and clear written communication and verbal communication skills to communicate and influence (such as documentation stakeholder communications PowerPoint presentation creation and public speaking skills).
Comfort with nonroutine and/or complex assignments with possibly unknown stakeholders and business
Works cooperatively with and looks for ways to collaborate with people with different backgrounds and

Occasional travel may be required e.g. third party service provider locations; business unit and regional locations.
Company paid international relocation is not offered for this role.
