Associated Supermarket Group (ASG) has an excellent opportunity for a Field Pricing Trainer. The Field Pricing Trainer reviews best practices with store managers/owners on maintaining Price Changes/Downloads. The Field Pricing Trainer visits stores to go over the Unbillable report (items they are trying to order that no longer exist). Create power point reports for Special Pricing Projects. The Field Pricing Trainer will assist with training store personnel during new store opening to assure the store is ready to open on time. This person will also assist in assuring the stores follow all the new ASG programs the owners have opted into.

Duties and responsibilities
Contact owners to set up training classes with store personnel. Price Change Best Practices iPad OTC Instacart App Card.
Gather store information/maintain excel list store email POS Provider Credit Card Processor eCommerce Loyalty.
New store openings Assist and train with back scanning/adding in items into POS prior to opening. Assist with hanging signs & shelf tags. Make sure systems are tested Credit Cards EBT OTC Meat/Deli Scales network file updates.
If the store is listed as a top offender on the unbillable report go over how to identify shelf labels that are discontinued. Contact POS company with any download issues.
Go over price change timeline what day shelf labels and downloads arrive.
Teach owners how to read all the items on a shelf label.
o How to tell if it is a new item price change or item change.
o Does the store hang green discontinued labels Once the product sells through is the store replacing the label with another product to fill the gap on the shelf
o Is the customer downloading price batches after shelf tags are hung Go over the importance of maintaining gross margin with proper shelf tag management.
Report on shelf label issues (description category size) to ASG pricing dept.
Send weekly Recap report to Technology Manager and VP retail Technology by Friday 4pm.
Qualifications
High school diploma required associate or bachelors degree preferred.
Two or more years experience working in the Supermarket frontend.
Valid Drivers License.
Ability to travel to Stores in the TriState Area 50 miles.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills basic Spanish a plus.
Willingness to adapt to changing customer demands and business requirements.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Strong problemsolving skills to address customer issues effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and support team goals.
Have Cultural Awareness to understand an appreciation of cultural differences to provide culturally sensitive support.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel and Power Point).
POS knowledge ( LOC Encore MCR other ) a plus.
Dress Professionally
Weekend work on occasions is required.
Communication with store personnel in multiple languages a plus.
Compensation: Exact compensation may vary based on skills experience and location. The target hiring range for this position is between $64350 $66000/year.
