DescriptionProvide friendly and excellent quality service to guests attending shows in the theater and assist during show preparation and conclusion. Provide optimal assistance to guests in emergency situations.
GENERAL EXPECTATIONS:
- Understand and adhere to established policies and procedures.
- Daily arrive on time inappropriate uniform with name tag for scheduled shifts.
- Arriving on time and making sure that the theater is in presentable condition prior to opening doors.
- Attend buzz sessions as scheduled prior to opening doors.
- Understand ability to perform duties of assignment. Assignments include but not limited to escorting patrons to seats assistance of ADA guests with wheelchairs and scooters collecting any recording devices etc. Refer to General Theater Operations for daily responsibilities.
- Ability to provide accurate knowledge to patrons regarding venue logistics (i.e. location of ticket offices restrooms phones concessions information about the show general building knowledge etc.)
- Actively assist with established Front of House emergency procedures.
- Ability to assist with procedures for injuries or medical emergencies.
- Ability to read show ticket (visual acuity corrected to read as small as 11font print) in dim lighting with use of flashlight.
- Ability to repeatedly climb stairs up and down.
- Ability to stand for long periods sometimes for the entire duration of the show with minimal break periods.
- Monitor physical surroundings in assigned area prior to and throughout event for safety cleanliness and functionality; notify the Showroom Manager of concerns.
- Respond quickly and courteously to guests needs questions comments or concerns with answers and/or actions.
- At shows end and the theater is cleared walk through assigned area retrieving lost items.
- Submit a detailed EndofShift report to Showroom Manager on a nightly basis.
- Leave at the end of shift as scheduled following Caesars Entertainment attendance guidelines.
- Attend meetings and job trainings as assigned (Buzz Sessions Lunch & Learn Safety Training etc.). Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years of usher experience preferred.
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent problemsolving skills including ability to maintain composure under stress.
- Ability to work with a team.
