Description

Maverc Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Command and Control (C2) Network Engineer to join our dedicated team. This position will play a critical role in supporting missioncritical systems focusing on the design implementation and management of C2 networks that facilitate vital operational communication and coordination.

Job Description:

The C2 Network Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining robust network infrastructures that ensure seamless communication between command and control systems. This includes configuring and optimizing network components ensuring security protocols are adhered to and troubleshooting any issues that may arise within the command and control networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement C2 network architectures to support operational requirements.
  • Administer and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations processes and standards.
  • Collaborate with cyber security teams to establish and enforce security measures within the C2 networks.
  • Conduct performance monitoring and capacity planning to ensure network reliability and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot networkrelated issues promptly ensuring minimal impact on operations.
  • Work closely with other IT professionals to integrate various systems and applications into the C2 network.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and integrate innovative solutions to enhance network performance.



Requirements

General Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship and active Secret clearance with NATO access
  • Must meet DoD cybersecurity and OPSEC standards
  • Ability to travel CONUS/OCONUS if required
  • Bachelors degree in CS EE or related
  • CompTIA Network Security IAT Level II
  • CCNP Routing & Switching
  • Experience with Riverbed/SolarWinds Android/Linux/Windows platforms
  • Handson with virtual networks shipboard and FMF exercise networks

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven experience in tactical network architecture and testing
  • Proficiency in network data analysis with Wireshark
  • Understanding of OSI Model Layers 14
  • Expertise in C2 integration methodologies
